Design and Analysis: Servo-Tube-Powered Liquid Jet Injector for Drug Delivery Applications

چکیده

The current state of commercially available needle-free liquid jet injectors for drug delivery offers no way controlling the output pressure device in real time, as driving mechanism these provides a fixed profile. In order to improve efficiency well precision targeted tissue depth, it is necessary develop power source that can accurately control plunger velocity. duration injection vary from 10 100 ms, and generate acceleration greater than 2 g (where gravity); thus, platform real-time must exhibit response time 1 kHz good accuracy. Improving pioneering work by Taberner others whereby Lorentz force actuator based upon voice coil designed, this study presents prototype injector system with controllability on use fully closed-loop classical three-phase linear motor consisting three coils multiple permanent magnets. Apart being capable generating jets required stagnation 15–16 MPa skin penetration injection, reproducing typical dynamics using injectors, novelty proposed proven be shaping profile, including pulsed so later tailored more efficient delivery.
